About Our Program
Y-E-S I CAN program utilizes empowerment seminars for teens and
adults, life coaching paired with a one year mentorship program to help individuals
succeed in life. Our target audience for
the workshops and mentoring are teens and adults who are at risk. Y-E-S I CAN will provide
confidential referrals for individuals seeking a Literacy Tutor for those who
wish to expand their learning to read.
In giving them the tools to succeed and the support of a mentor to encourage
them, individuals can overcome obstacles when they are determined to be

Family members of our program participants are an
important part of the program. Their
support of the program and of the family member will help the individual reach
for their dreams and achieve their goals.
We have supportive seminars for the family members as well.
The individuals we are
encouraging to participate in the Y-E-S
I CAN program include:
whose parents are incarcerated or are from single parent homes
who have been in a juvenile detention center
who show signs of being at risk (grades and attendance dropping in school,
who want to change their life around and need the extra support, such as those
in Drug Sobriety Court, in Shelter Inc homes, or homeless shelters.
